Here's another powerful add from Obama. This one hits McCain on education. I don't think that's a real sexy issue, but it's another example of Barack setting the narrative, rather than reacting like he's been doing recently. I like it.
Being in a non-contested state, I have no idea how saturated people are with this ads, or even where they are playing. I like this ad--like the one yesterday even more--but are the right people actually seeing them enough times to make a difference?
After the puff-piece that Charlie Gibson will have with Palin later this week (he will join her as she speaks to her son's unit before they ship to Iraq, then will spend time with her at home and in Alaska for two days), Obama will still need to do something *big* to reclaim the spotlight.
I think (fear? hope? suppose?) that he needs to go out and make some high-profile events with Hillary and/or Bill. Mostly with Hillary.
