House Republicans just voted to abolish Medicare and turn it into a voucher program. There are a ton of other terrible things in that resolution: block granting and cutting Medicaid and food stamps; massive cuts to head start, child care, family planning; and yes, even the elimination of my beloved Social Services Block Grant (it is the glue that keeps the safety net together, don'tcha know).
I actually think they have gone too far this time. This vote better be all that Democrats talk about for the next, what, 19 months?
Oh and, how much of a mistake do we think this audio leak is?

i was thinking the same thing. no way was that audio accidentally piped into the WH press room. give me a break. you think he's stupid?
Once again, repugs fight back against Big Poor. That'll teach those uppidy po' folks to think they matter.
