I'm sure that there will be lots of comments about Palin's (grotesque) speech. I'm still too upset about how hateful and cynical and evil they are, so I'll just point to an article about earmarks for now:

I'm genuinely shocked by how much sarcasm and negativity they packed into her speech. Aren't ordinary people tired of all of that? I'll be really interested to see how it went over among independents and among rank and file repugs.
And it's surely sexist but I really wouldn't have thought that a woman could get away with that snarky tone. But the pundits are eating it up.
