dave has other amazing stats--she was in the top 5000 finishers, she finished 800th or so among the women, she finished only an hour behind the WINNER. good lord. i mean, if she really tried maybe she could win this thing.
And, as someone pointed out, this year's time was almost an hour faster than her last marathon (when she had me holding her back). Thus, she should challenge the elites when she sheds another hour for her next race.
Aw, thanks everyone. It was truly an amazing experience. And a HUGE part of that was being able to look forward to the meet up points along the way. I'd get a charge a mile or so before every point you all would be on the course, and then a huge jolt when I saw you that would carry me through the next couple of miles. It was so, so much fun.
Oh yes, and then there was the promise of bacon that got me through some of the darker marathon moments as well. Ilsa, I hope that pan has recovered from its inaugural (and final?) bacon frying experience.

Awesome B. 3:36 is nuts!
For instance, my 27-year old coworker guy--a former collegiate soccer player--ran it in 4:30. Your performance was...I dunno...Jeter-esque.
Shall we rent a motor home for Boston? If it's above freezing, i promise to show up!
Right? It's totally nuts! And you should have seen her -- a gazelle, she was! (No kidding!)
and she was smiling the entire time!
