what a bummer. we were all talking about this in my condo building this morning. everyone was so excited.
“Ouch. We’re not even the Second City,” was Tribune columnist Blair Kamin’s take. “To Cub fans, the feeling should be familiar: Soaring expectations, followed by the cold slap of defeat,” Kamin continued, before reassuring readers “Chicago is a resilient city.
