Nate on What Trump Means for GOP

Following up on John's post from yesterday, here's some interesting analysis of what Trump's rise means for the GOP field. This actually came out before Donald reminded everyone of all of his black friends. Key takeaway: if GOP voters are this high on Trump, that's not a good sign for the field.

that's fascinating and good reading. i've really missed this kind of political coverage (not that it's not there, i just haven't been reading it). couple thoughts:

--i just used up one of my 20 NYT online articles for the month
--Palin's 15 mins are almost up
--nate seems to be taking trump seriously. interesting.
--the "none of the above" does concern me. but as long as the Tea P. people have leverage, the Rs are going to be really divided. Hard to find a white, male consensus candidate in that mess.
