Excellent, excellent article. Maybe he will be able to shift the way people talk about cities from fetid warrens of crime and poverty (and somehow elitism) to innovative and cultured places.

i know! plus, all the beautiful people live in cities.

dave--maybe we should start a "he said/she said" type of column on sassy. mostly to keep ourselves entertained. oh! or we could start spreading rumors about the rest of team sassy. that'll keep everyone on their toes!

We do care! we do, we do! Some of us are just way too stupid to participate in a blog, as we forget our password, then change it, then re-forget it, then give up.
Repeat.

And but so anyhow, urban guys are much much better at press conferences. You have to watch a few minutes of preamble before John Stewart gets to the piece on Obama v. Bush in dealing with the press.

My god, are these gents even of the same species? Thank whatever higher power you choose--I'll go with Democracy -- that we have #44 to look forward to (8 years of press conferences, state of the union addresses....the whole country will get smarter by osmosis).
