GOP Plan to Raise Taxes for Most Americans

Kevin Drum of Mother Jones posted a chart that breaks down the income tax effects in Rep. Paul Ryan's vaunted tax and spending road map. As you could expect, he proposes a drastic tax cut for the rich, especially those making over $460,700 a year. But, this would reduce revenues a lot. How does Ryan make up for that? By raising taxes for people making less than $100,000 a year. You know, 90% of the population. Nice.

Ok, with that Citizens United ruling on the books, and before congress passes any sensible legislation to render it relatively unimportant, can't George Soros fund like $900 million in ads that basically say: Obama's budget cut taxes for 95% of Americans. Republicans plan raises taxes on 90%. The end.

or we can just get peter to do it.

John, let's steer clear of a Ross Perot-like infomercial. I know how you admired his work but this is no time for homage.

but, we could get this guy (?) to star, and it could be a song-and-dance, number. Who wouldn't love that?

Hmmm, I fear my html got chopped.

It was a picture of that creepy dancing person from the 6 Flags commercials. He/she is Perot-esque, was my point.

God I miss him. We really need Glenn Beck to interview Ross Perot. John Stewart would drop dead of pure happiness.
