Maybe you weren't big enough, but you very well may have kept us out of a much deeper decline. As the NYT tells it today, you maintain or added 1.6 to 1.8 million jobs and will ultimately probably yield about 2.5 million. Thanks for being you.
and this quote is why the success of the stimulus bill won't get much play. because repugs stay on message and use catchy, short, incorrect statements that the masses who watch Fox remember and repeat:
"But that’s not what is happening. Instead, the debate is largely disconnected from the huge stimulus experiment we just ran. Why? As Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts, the newest member of Congress, said, in a nice summary of the misperceptions, the stimulus might have saved some jobs, but it “didn’t create one new job.”
I think this is another case of the White House failing to win the narrative. Granted, it's not easy having to out-shout the GOP bullhorn that is Fox and Rush and all. Still, they need to get better at this.

What the hell does that even mean? Scott Brown kinda rhymes with ass clown.
