I'm here. Still drying my eyes following the hug with Gabbie.

Jobs, jobs, JOBS!! Love the pained look Boehner gets on his face when he has to clap.

McCain sitting during immigration reform point. Remember when he used to be an advocate for that?

John McCain. What a grump.

Can't wait to see Romney in a debate with our guy.

Whoa. Steve Jobs widow is gorgeous.

Ooh Barack just stuck it to the repugs: get it on my desk this year!

Banks need to repay a deficit of trust. I like that.

Good stuff. And he totally nailed the tax policy issue.

So, I was late and have only caught about the last 30 minutes. What are your impressions so far?

Strong finish! I liked the segue from mentioning the Bin Laden killing to teamwork and pulling together for the good of the "mission."

I'm looking forward to the debates.

Ugh. I don't get MSNBC in my hotel room and am forced to watch CNN's coverage.

I think he struck all the right notes. Bullied Congress just enough to seem powerful and in control but not enough to create any sympathy for them.

I had almost forgotten that his charisma is off the charts. I can't wait to see the Romney debates. Or Gingrich. Or Shorty McD. They will all shrink in comparison. Plus I think Congress will play right into his hands by just continuing to be a roadblock and that will make for good talking points in the fall.

My favorite part of Mitch's response so far: "Almost 50 percent of Americans under the age of 30 didn't go to work today." Um, are you including children??

i liked his tie.

Hey, you guys made all my points. Though I did like the "if anyone says america is in decline they dont know what they'are talking about." But he said it loudly and with an edge.

and Dave, the mention of the military and the concept of teamwork is actually what he started with (in context of troops leaving Iraq), and so he nicely circled back to it at the end.

And, um, Hillary's headband? Is that from Claire's at the mall?

I'm just like Perez Hilton!
