Yikes is right. That's gotta sink J.J. Jr.'s chances for the big time, right?

If true, yeah he's done. But, really, given his initials, he was a problem to begin with.

As an Illinoisian (huh?), my feeling is that I hope this scandal cleans out all kinds of people, up to the Mayor, but not of course either U.S. Senator/president-elect. Triple J seemed like a good guy, but if this is true, throw him on the trash heap and move on.

Sleman in '10, that's my rallying cry!

this whole thing is making me re-think my generous use of the F word. patti and rod just both sound so slimy and trashy. and sassy doesn't want to be described as either.

The New York Times is now covering it as well. I'll say it again. Yikes!

In a way, this could take some of the misdirected attention away from Barack for a while.

As for cleaning out the corrupt in IL politics, I think that would cause a government shut down. Did you read that this is our 5th governor in 50 years to get into serious legal trouble. Sheesh.

One of the 45 announced today, Bobby Jindal, that he won't be running for President in 2012. Remember that we heard that from Barack.
