80-20 initiative revisited

Pre-blogspot Sassy members might remember some discussion we had about the 80-20 initiative, a "non-partisan" political organization that tries to get Asian Americans to vote in a bloc. Some articles (e.g., this one) suggested that the initiative played some role in Clinton's decisive California primary win over Obama (Asians win 3-1 Clinton; yikes!). In any case, 80-20 is solidly pro-Obama, and they are looking to go for it in battle ground states, whatever that means. So much for non-partisan! But this one isn't complaining, though I still have my doubts that 80-20 really plays any direct role in how Asian-Americans vote.
