The more I think about it, the better I feel about that debate. Between her horrid interviews, her awkward delivery, and SNL, I think that Palin still came off as highly scripted. And, she did raise some alarm bells with her talk of expanding VP power. She passed a test by not running from the stage crying, but I think she got a C+ at best. Kind of like college for her.
Joe, on the other hand, got a solid B+. He was polished, knowledgeable, and wasn't a bully. I think he got a tad boring at times, but he finished very well.
supposedly queen latifah is going to play gwen ifill this weekend on SNL. be interesting to see what they emphasize from the debate. the winking? the "can i call you joe" BS? the keeping her baby soon up til 11pm so she can show him off?
