Newsweek investigates fundraising fraud in Obama's campaign--among small donors. As a result, the RNC is filing a complaint with the SEC.
I'm wondering why the Obama campaign didn't just implement Center for Responsive Politics recommendations around tracking small donors. They might not have wanted to waste the resources but, since the McCain campaign did comply, it gives the appearance of impropriety and and provides the repugs with a legitimate target.
