Yikes, that's juicy! Although, I must say that more and more I wish the Palin family soap opera drama would go away so that people could see the emptiness of the McCain-Palin campaign. I'm concerned that this fits into their narrative that the press is out to get Palin.
I hear you about it feeding the media-out-to-get her narrative, but at the same time to low-info voters, this speaks louder than the claims of conspiracy.
And of course there is the bizarro irony of the Enquirer having credibility for "outing" John Edwards which will allow them to be taken more seriously in reporting this.
having said all that, this is not a game changer or anything. What will be is the Obama campaign going on the offensive with the "enough" message ("enough with the Karl Rove tactics; enough with the lies; enough with ignoring the concerns of most Americans...enough! enough! enough!"). It should replace "Yes We Can" for a while.
True. It would give Barack a good opportunity to come out against these sensationalist attacks...which I will delight in reading as a mean-spirited liberal petrified at the thought of Sarah Palin in the White House.
oh, you know i love me the gossip. but i am nervous this could backfire. though, on who? it's not like the enquirer is the liberal media. also, this info helps to refute the image palin is putting out there about herself.
